photo was shot at the climbing memorials at the toe of the Khumbu Glacier on the way to the Everest Base Camp in Nepal. The memorials are for sherpas and climbers who have lost their lives on the mountain. The prominent peak in the frame is Ama Dablam. The photo was taken with a Nikon D80 / Nikon 18-135 mm lens with a Hoya polarizing filter. The photo was taken during the middle of a full day of trekking. I happened to be at the right place at the right time!
